Let’s start the blog post off by saying that I absolutely love Hong Kong. After I visited Hong Kong for the fifth time, I was completely in love with its chaos and energy. Like any metropolis the city draws you in, and makes you feel like you can be whoever you want to be.
You move to China and it is your first day at work. You have to go to a dinner, where you get forced to do shots. Finally you end up at 3 am at KTV. During the night all of your colleagues try to take at least 10 selfies with you while singing their hearts out to the Chinese version of Justin Bieber.
Most of the time, I feel restless. When I am at home, I get this strong desire to travel. When I travel, I miss the comfortableness of my bed at home. It is an endless struggle. I am always dreaming of the nomad lifestyle. To discover faraway places I’ve never heard of, beaches without any footprints and hikes where you don’t cross a soul on the way to the top.
